MauriceR November 13, 2012, 8:16 am Agreed on all points and size *IS* key on both small enough to hold but large enough to see. Data entry and the type of data entry will seem to be the real determining factor. The real key seems to be picking the right tool for the job, so it would seem we will want different size devices at different times/locations. Just one observation.
pzs November 15, 2012, 8:59 pm I agree with everything you stated except for one issue: Simplification. As a Provider, I want to minimize devices and hopefully use one for all (less to learn). However, you may be right that we may still need to choose the right tool, hopefully just a lot less of them if not just one. So the question is, is it possible to have one device that 'does it all' that most providers would be happy with? As for data entry, as natural language processing and voice interaction matures, I'm betting that this would be the major form of data entry (for me it would!).
