The 5,820 apps analyzed herein are all health, medical or fitness related – we discarded the ones not in English and we tossed out the miscategorized--there were almost 700 such apps. The health related apps have been, in some cases, pulled from across an appstore’s various categories so long as they were relevant specifically to patients or healthcare professionals.
