mHIMSS is seeking written material on emerging practices and independent research for review and subsequent publication via the mHIMSS website. Studies should clearly demonstrate the use of mobile or wireless technology with regards to the delivery of healthcare in varied settings. Quality submissions would include an introduction section, methodology/lessons learned/ or best practices section, results/data analysis section, and conclusion section. mHIMSS will not modify submitted manuscripts without prior approval from the author and only word documents will be accepted for case study submissions. The request for word documents is necessary because of the review process. Applicants whose content demonstrates a robust quantitative or qualitative approach, in association with sound research design, are strongly encouraged to submit.
The Review Process
Case studies will be reviewed by subject matter experts with diverse backgrounds to determine the following: Is the content relative to mobile health? Are there clear conclusions or best practices to be disseminated? A link to the complete guidelines for review is found below.
Submitted studies will be reviewed on a rolling basis by evaluators to determine content validity.
